Amanda Gilbert, BA
Amanda Gilbert is a past Director for AME Lab.
Her research interests are on conducting and implementing clinical research in meditation, mindfulness and contemplative practices, as well as examining how these restorative health behaviors affect our minds and biology. Amanda’s interests also span to conceptual and methodological development in the contemplative sciences, as well as innovation in mindfulness-based curriculum, application, theory, and practicum.
She worked in Integrative Medical Clinics in the Bay Area prior to joining the AME Center and received her bachelor's degree in Sustainable Community Development from Prescott College in Arizona.
