Welcome to our AME research center!

The AME Center conducts research on how people can thrive in both mind and body, especially when under severe adversity such as poverty, caregiving, work stress, and depression.

Our innovative research Consortium for Obesity Assessment, Study & Treatment (COAST) helps us to further understand the mechanisms by which stress influences obesity. For 5 years, we had a Sugar, Stress, Environment & Weight (SSEW) Initiative of over 25 University of California scientists and policymakers working to reduce the prevalence and adverse consequences of obesity.

We would love to have you be a part of our team by applying for a job or internship with us also you can help by enrolling in a study.
